An End to the Year, a Start of a Job

I’ve started a new job this week. It’s been exciting and I hope I’ll like it!

I’m back in the 3D animation industry after the gaming industry broke my heart again. Nothing to be done about that, but I figured that insanity is trying the same thing and expecting different results. Let’s give the 3D animation industry a chance again. Maybe this time I can work in a place for more than a year and five months, which is the longest I’ve been employed for in the last decade. FUN!

So far I know what I’m doing (mostly) and have met some very nice people in my job! I’m a coordinator, so don’t expect to see my name in many credits.

I remember the day my brother freaked out that my name was in IMDB!

As you can tell, I don’t have too much to say this week, I just wanted you all to know I haven’t forgotten my blog. I hope I’ll have more to write as December arrives and I get into the groove of this new position. It’s been a hard transition from being unemployed for 6 months to getting up early and having no freedom or time again. However I’m slowly getting back in the groove of things and I remain hopeful that each day will bring something new.

Wish me luck,
